Senior forward Taryn Wicijowski recorded her second straight double-double and freshman forward Tanaeya Boclair scored 14 points, but the University of Utah women's basketball team lost at Creighton, 64-56, Thursday night at Sokol Arena.

Utah (1-1) held a 40.0-35.5 edge in shooting percentage, including a 51.9 (14-27) clip in the second half, and the Utes shot five of 10 from the arc.

Wicijowski had 14 points, 13 rebounds and a pair of assists against the Bluejays.

Boclair turned in her 14 points off a six-for-10 night shooting to go with four rebounds. The San Antonio native had seven first-half points after knocking down three of her first five shots.

Creighton's Marissa Janning led the team with 15 points.

The Utes continue their Midwest road trip by traveling west to take on No. 16 Nebraska on Sunday.

USU 79, UVU 61 • Ingrida Strikas led Utah State in its victory over Utah Valley on Thursday. UVU's Rhaiah Spooner-Knight threw down 21 points in 39 minutes.

WSU 71, Air Force 53 • Regina Okoye's 21 points and 12 rebounds led the Wildcats over the Falcons on Thursday. Air Force senior Jimi Blagowsky had 17 points and four assists.
