Colorado Springs, Colo. • Utah State redshirt freshman David Collette has been named the Mountain West Conference's Player of the Week.
Collette, who is from Murray High School, averaged 19.5 points and five rebounds in two come-from-behind victories. He also shot 72 percent from the field and blocked five shots as the Aggies defeated Weber State on Friday (72-61) and Illinois State on Sunday (60-55).
Utah State trailed Weber State at halftime, 47-29, before coming back to win. The Aggies also trailed Illinois State at halftime, 27-20.
