Grand Forks, N.D. • Weber State's elusive search for victory this season takes the Wildcats to North Dakota on Saturday.

The Wildcats are 0-9 overall and 0-5 in the conference in league play, despite being positioned to win in the fourth quarter in their last six games.

"It's been a little frustrating," says first-year coach Jay Hill.

Weber State hopes to end the frustration against North Dakota, which is 3-6 overall and 1-4 in the Big Sky after last week's 54-3 loss at Eastern Washington. It was UND's most lopsided loss since 1926.

Weber State comes off a 29-22 loss to Northern Arizona. The Wildcats jumped to a 22-0 lead in the first quarter and were driving for another score when an interception in the end zone completely changed the momentum.

Said Hill: "... It seemed like there was a sentiment on the sideline like, 'Here we go again. Something bad is going to happen.' That's got to change around here. We've got to overcome stuff like that."

Two Weber State running backs could reach milestones against North Dakota.

Bo Bolen, a senior from Aurora, Colo., needs 97 yards to become the ninth player in school history to rush for 2,000 in his career.

Zach Smith, a sophomore from Kissimmee, Fla., needs only 17 yards to become the 28th player in school history to rush for 1,000 in his career. —
