Mitt Romney has taken the stage during the second day of CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference.

Thousands were expected to attend the 40th annual CPAC, which started Thursday and will continue through Saturday, March 16.Donald Trump spoke at 8:45 a.m. ET Friday and National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre is on the schedule to speak 10:45 a.m. ET. At noon ET, former senator and Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum will speak. Eric Cantor, House majority leader, will speak at 3:35 p.m. ET.
