Cordova allowed only six hits in her first career complete-game shutout as Utah earned an 8-0 win over Cal in six innings during last Thursday’s 8-0 run-rule, six-inning victory. She tied her season high by striking out five and walked only one in 6.0 innings of work.

During the Saturday series finale, a 5-2 Utah win, Cordova allowed two earned runs on six hits to go with three strikeouts and a pair of walks against the Golden Bears.

Cordova improved her record to 10-8 on the season and she now has eight complete-game efforts during her freshman campaign.
