Utah's vault lineup has been great all season, but it's still getting better.

The Utes scored a season-high 49.625 on the vault Saturday night to cruise past No. 11 Oregon State 197.575-196.45.

Their previous best was a 49.6 against UCLA on Jan. 25.

Kailah Delaney and Tory Wilson led the Utes with 9.95s, and Georgia Dabritz was right behind them with a 9.925.

Saturday was the fourth time Delaney has tied her career high on the vault.

Last week, the Utes tied their season low, earning just 49.425 in the 197-196.3 loss at Stanford.

Saturday's meet was different from the start, with Becky Tutka leading off the Utes with a 9.9 effort.

The mark tied the career high of 9.9 she posted against Arizona.

Mary Beth Lofgren followed with a 9.9 of her own, which tied her career high.

Back in

Tutka, who sat out the floor lineup against Stanford with a sore Achilles tendon, wasn't expected to compete on the event Saturday for precautionary reasons. However, she felt good enough to go and scored a 9.875.

"She didn't do much at all this week, but she was feeling good so we let her go," Utah coach Greg Marsden said. "We'll let her make that decision as long as she is making a good one."

Honored

The Utes honored about 30 alumni before the meet. Among those attending was former Ute Fumina Kobayashi (2010-12), whose sister, Kana, is a freshman for Oregon State. Kana did not compete Saturday.

The Utes also honored sport psychologist Keith Henschen, who recently retired. Henschen has worked with Utah's gymnasts for many seasons, as well as several Olympic and pro athletes.

Roster note

The Beavers have an unusually high number of walk-ons competing this year, with three regularly in the rotations.

Taylor Keeker and Hannah Casey compete on the uneven bars, and Katelyn Ohlrich competes on the balance beam.

Keeker had a 9.875 on the vault and a 9.8 on the bars while Casey had a 9.9 on the bars.

Unexpected week off

The Beavers had an extra week to prepare for the Utes because their Feb. 8 meet against Cal was snowed out.

Due to other scheduling conflicts, the Pac-12 decided the meet would not be made up.
