On Thursday night, California defeated the Utes 62-57 at the Huntsman Center, holding off a big Utah comeback attempt to win its third game of Pac-12 Conference play.

Jason Washburn led the Utes with 14 points. Jordan Loveridge had 12, while Glen Dean and Brandon Taylor had 10 points each.
Nobody, though, could contain Allen Crabbe, the leading scorer in the conference. He had a game-high 23 points, while Tyrone Wallace had 12.
Utah had 17 turnovers against the Bears, and just 12 assists.
