Guards Kareem Storey and Cedric Martin have signed formal letters-of-intent to play men's basketball for the Utah Utes next season, the school said Thursday.

Coach Larry Krystkowiak has now signed eight new players to the program, almost completing his first recruiting class.

The 6-foot, 190-pound Storey averaged 12.5 points and 8.4 assists last season at Princeton Day Academy in Maryland, and Krystkowiak called him a "prototypical point guard with a great basketball IQ." He will be a freshman next season.

Martin is a 6-4, 190-pound wing player who will join the Utes as a junior, after transferring from Lee College in Baytown, Texas. He was a team captain and all-region honorable mention last season whom Krystkowiak expects to be "one of the better shooters on our team" next year.
