The makeup of Utah's basketball program under new coach Larry Krystkowiak continued its evolution Thursday.
The Tribune has confirmed that Andy Hill, Krystkowiak's previous assistant at Montana, has joined the Utes' staff, although his position has yet to be announced.
Hill, a 2000 graduate of Eastern Washington, has spent the past seven years on Montana's staff.
ESPN 700 AM has reported that Alex Jensen turned down an offer to join the Utes as an assistant and will remain at Saint Louis on Rick Majerus' staff.
Jensen, who ranks 20th on Utah's all-time scoring list with 1,279 points, interviewed with Krystkowiak on Monday.
Meanwhile guard Chris Kupets could be the next player to leave the Runnin' Utes, with the school granting Kupets permission to talk to other schools.
However, he has not asked for a release, according to school officials.
Already leading scorer Will Clyburn, freshman Preston Guiot and backup Antonio DiMaria have announced they are leaving the Utes.
Kupets played in 29 games as a junior, averaging 7.4 points and 1.6 rebounds.
Freshman J.J. O'Brien has asked for his release but has not announced whether he will leave the program or not.
