How well do you know Utah high school football?

The prep football season begins in earnest Friday night, so it’s time to make sure fans are ready to head to the stadiums across the state.

First, let’s get things started with a little quiz to test your knowledge of high school football in Utah. Are you as much of an expert as you think?

OK, now that we’re done with that — how did you do, by the way — let’s get up to speed on who won the big games last year. Here’s a 45-second look at all six schools that were crowned a state champ last season.

But that’s in the past now. The new season officially began Thursday night with Duchesne downing Layton Christian to extend the state record for consecutive wins. Our Tom Wharton offered his answers to 10 questions entering the season, and here’s where you can get the full slate of kickoffs.
