Prep Basketball: Jackson’s 50 leads Lone Peak to win in Dubai

Dubai • Frank Jackson fired in 50 points Wednesday as Lone Peak captured a 101-97 victory over MPAC-Dubai in the first annual MPAC Sports Basketball Elite International tournament in Dubai.

The victory improved the four-time 5A defending champion Knights’ record in the tournament featuring top U.S. prep teams and teams from the Middle East and Africa to 3-1.

The Knights will play Huntington Prep Friday in the championship semifinal rounds with the winner playing in the title game.

Dylan Hedin added 15 points for the Utah team.
