Prep baseball: 2A tournament continues Thursday

The Class 2A baseball championships resume Thursday at Kearns High School with Region 15 champion Grand, Manti, Region 13 champion Beaver and surprising North Sevier playing in the winners’ bracket.

Grand takes on Manti on Thursday at 11 a.m., while Beaver takes on North Sevier at 1:30 p.m. North Sevier, the third-place team out of Region 15, upset Region 16 champion Gunnison this past Saturday.

» Gunnison vs. Summit Academy, 11 a.m. (Winner plays Emery-South Sevier winner at 4:30 p.m.)

» Millard vs. South Summit, 1 p.m. (Winner plays Parowan-Delta winner at 7 p.m.)

At Taylorsville High

» Emery vs. South Sevier, 11 a.m.

» Parowan vs. Delta, 1:30 p.m.
