Class 5A

1. Lone Peak • The Knights already have beaten their top two Region 4 challengers

2. Alta • No other team may be able to step up to the Hawks in Region 3

3. Davis • Elijah Kletzli in the post complements the Darts' great guard play

4. American Fork • The Cavemen have had hiccups, but remain talented

5. Pleasant Grove • Stuck with Lone Peak for a half before becoming another victim

Class 4A

1. Bountiful • Dismantled a good Woods Cross team in a rivalry game

2. Olympus • Jake Lindsey brought back the Titans in a big win over Mountain View

3. Timpview • Gavin Baxter is one of the best sophomore talents in the state

4. Roy • The Royals have started 5-0 in region play

5. Mountain View • The Bruins lost to Olympus on Friday but led in the fourth, proving they're for real

Class 3A

1. Juan Diego • Will play defending region champ Morgan on Tuesday

2. Pine View • Wednesday's matchup with Snow Canyon could decide much in Region 9

3. Grantsville • The Cowboys' second loss of the season didn't derail them, as they've bounced back

4. Payson • Blew out Richfield, which was ranked No. 4 last week

5. Morgan • The Trojans are starting to find their stride after struggling early

Class 2A

1. Wasatch Academy • Beat two ranked teams last week by a combined 84 points

2. South Summit • Vault into the rankings on strong win over Gunnison Valley

3. Gunnison Valley • The Bulldogs have lost two of their last five but still are one of Class 2A's most talented teams

4. Enterprise • Close win over Parowan pushes the Wolves to the top of Region 13

5. Emery • Won't be the last time a good team loses badly to Wasatch Academy

Class 1A

1. Rich • A difficult week awaits, with games against top two region challengers, in Tabiona and Duchesne

2. Panguitch • Two wins while Rich was idle nearly was enough to flip the Bobcats and Rebels

3. Wendover • The Wildcats doing what many cannot when they cross the state line at Wendover — win

4. Monticello • The Buckaroos have come out on top in several close games

5. Duchesne • The Eagles can establish themselves as a serious threat with a win over Rich

Class 5A

1. Riverton • Finally was in a close game, proving the Silverwolves may just be great, rather than invincible

2. Fremont • The Silver Wolves proved this week that they can play some lockdown defense

3. Layton • No hangover from loss to Fremont, as the Lancers went 2-0 this week

4. Alta • The Hawks beat last week's No. 4 team, Brighton, to take an early lead in Region 3

5. Granger • The Lancers haven't lost since the calendar had just flipped

Class 4A

1. Skyline • The Eagles got it done with both offense and defense in a pair of victories

2. Bonneville • Survived tough tests from Roy and Sky View

3. Timpview • Lyndie Haddock and Lauryn De La Cruz have the Thunderbirds humming right along

4. Judge Memorial • Got back on track after last week's loss

5. Mountain View • The Bruins' only two losses came a long time ago, to two good teams

Class 3A

1. Morgan • The Trojans have proved they have everything you want from a dominant team

2. Desert Hills • One slipup from Morgan and the Thunder would be a great candidate for the No. 1 spot

3. Juan Diego • The Soaring Eagle have an opportunity on the road at Morgan on Tuesday

4. North Sanpete • The Hawks played much better after a week to work on issues found during last week's loss

5. Stansbury • The Stallions jump into the rankings on the strength of a perfect start in Region 11

Class 2A

1. North Summit • Beat another ranked team to solidify No. 1 status

2. Emery County • The Spartans have established themselves as the team to beat in Region 15

3. Delta • Hasn't played a lot of games since winter break, but it has won them

4. South Summit • A chance to make a statement with Tuesday's game at North Summit

5. Rowland Hall • The Winged Lions have the game to back up their sweet nickname

Class 1A

1. Panguitch • The Bobcats have taken the best shots from many teams in Region 20 and survived them all

2. St Joseph • It's been a long time since a team scored 30 points against the Jayhawks

3. Wendover • Tuesday's game with St. Joseph could decide Region 18

4. Milford • The Tigers have bounced back from a rough start to region play

5. Wayne • Like a lot of teams, the Badgers were unable to keep pace with Panguitch
