Lindsey was lethal around the rim and Monson was deadly behind the arc with a game-high four 3-pointers. They combined for 50 points.

"Jake’s very crafty, quick, can get to the rim and finish at the basket," Olympus coach Matt Barnes said. "Alec is shooting the ball really well. "We just shared the ball really well, spaced people [out] and it’s a tough cover."

Olympus was firing on all cylinders from the beginning but blew open the game in the second half. The Titans outscored Brighton 40-18 after halftime.

"I think we really threw them off of what they wanted to do and made them take tougher shots," Barnes said. "We rebounded the ball really well and then we got out and ran in transition and really converted well."

Lindsey scored 24 points.

"I think overall we came out a little slowly," Lindsey said. "They’re a good team and they just had a tough night. We did a good job, we rebounded well and that’s important for us because of how small we are."

Barnes said his team needed a tough road test after several home games recently because region play starts Friday.

"I was excited to see how we’d respond to their pressure, to their half court traps, and the different defensive schemes," Barnes said.
