Class 5A

1. Brighton (11-1-0)

Could Friday match versus Alta at Rio Tinto Stadium be a preview of season's end?

2. Lone Peak (11-2-0)

Still undefeated in 5A's best region.

3. Weber (11-1-2)

Hung five runs on Davis while shutting out the Darts prolific defense.

4. Davis (11-2-1)

Previously could rely on scoring goals. Weber loss proved that's not always enough.

5. Lehi (11-2-0)

Opportunity for huge finish: Remaining games against Lone Peak, Riverton and Bingham.

Class 4A

1. Mountain View (9-2-1)

Assumes top spot after East tumbles.

2. Roy (9-3-0)

Has won five straight in Region 5 after loss to Logan.

3. Orem (9-3-0)

Surging Tigers in position for Region 8's No. 2 seed

4. Bonneville (8-4-0)

Two of last three games will be played in Cache Valley.

5. East (9-4-0)

Still good enough to win state, but losses to Clearfield and Woods Cross revealed problem areas.

The Class 3A and 2A playoffs begin this week.
