Andrew Bergquist and Wilson Lamb each scored twice to lead Judge Memorial to the Utah high school boys' hockey championship with an 8-5 victory over Bingham on Monday night at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex.

Both teams will represent Utah at the USA Hockey High School National Championships in Salt Lake City next month.

The Bulldogs went undefeated through the double-elimination tournament, and cruised to the title by jumping to a 5-0 lead over the Miners in the second period.

Nicholas Brown, John Keller, Samuel Taylor and Matthew Villar also scored for Judge, while Cody Bohin had a hat trick and an assist for Bingham.

Hockey is not sanctioned by the Utah High School Activities Association, but many schools in Utah field club teams.

Some teams include players from several high schools, too. In the independent final for such teams, Utah County South edged Davis County by a score of 1-0.
