A modest rise, but a rise nonetheless.
Following the best Pac-12 start since the Utes joined the conference, Utah is now ranked at 19th in both the AP Top 25 Poll and the Amway Coaches Poll. The Utes rose one spot in the AP Poll and four spots in the Coaches Poll.
Utah looked sluggish in the first few quarters against Oregon State on Thursday, but a dominant performance by Devontae Booker set the Utes up for an exciting 29-23 victory in double overtime. The Utes are 2-1 in Pac-12 play this season, beating UCLA and OSU in the last two games.
Fellow Pac-12 teams joining Utah in the AP Poll are Oregon (6), Arizona State (14), Arizona (15), USC (20) and UCLA (25) and in the Coaches Poll, Oregon (7), Arizona State (14), Arizona (15) and USC (21).
