Sacramento, Calif. • Jordan Robinson ran 17 times for 130 yards and two touchdowns in Sacramento State's 42-31 victory over Weber State Saturday night.

Garrett Safron threw for 202 yards and ran for 115 yards for the Hornets (2-1). Nnamdi Agude had seven catches for 124 yards and a touchdown.

The Hornets scored the first 20 points and led 36-24 with 9:04 to play when they consumed 5½ minutes on an 11-play, 75-yard drive.

Brad Cornish capped the drive with a 32-yard field goal and kicked another after a short Weber State (0-3) possession to make it 42-24 with 2:12 to play.

Weber State cut the deficit to 30-24 on Josh Kealamakia's field goal early in the fourth quarter. Billy Green threw for 377 yards and Cameron Livingston had 10 catches for 175 yards.

The game does not count in the Big Sky standings.
