Utah's Chelsey Schofield-Olsen had 11 kills as the Utes defeated host Libscomb University 3-1 in the final match of the Libscomb Invitational in Nashville, Tenn., on Saturday.

Kalee Kirby had 17 assists and 10 digs as Utah improved to 9-0 on the season, winning 25-18, 25-17, 15-25, 25-22.

Shelby Dalton led Utah with 14 digs in the match.

The Utes went 3-0 in the tournament to claim the championship.

The Utes had swept their six previous matches before dropping the third set to the Bisons.

Utah 3, Georgia Tech 0 • Earlier Saturday, Bailey Bateman had 11 kills and Schofield-Olsen and Eliza Katoa added 10 each for the Utes as they won 28-26, 25-17, 25-18.

North Texas 3, Utah Valley 1 • In Denton, Texas, the Wolverines loss the championship match of the Mean Green Classic, 25-18, 25-13, 25-27, 25-20. Macky Treanor led the Wolerines (3-8) with 12 kills in the match.

Utah Valley 3, Abilene Christian 1 • Earlier Saturday, Treanor had 15 kills to lead the Wolverines to the victory, 25-9, 24-26, 26-24, 25-17.

Carroll 3, Westminster 1 • In Helena, Mont., Jessica Chellsen led Westminster with 12 kills but the Griffins lost 25-16, 18-25, 25-17, 25-15 for their second straight Frontier Conference defeat.

Women's soccer

BYU 2, Long Beach State 0 • In Provo, sophomore forward Ashley Hatch scored both goals to lead BYU over No. 23 Long Beach State. Hatch scored her first goal on a header off a Marissa Nimmer corner kick 30 minutes into the first half. Hatch's second goal came in the 74th minute when she took the ball into the box and slid it past the Long Beach keeper.

Senior goalkeeper Katherine Snyder made four saves and recorded her first career shutout.

Men's soccer

Grand View 3, Westminster 0 • In Des Moines, Iowa, the Griffins gave up a goal in the seventh minute of their loss. Logan Butzier suffered his first loss of the season in goal for the Griffins despite making 10 saves.
