Billings beat Orem to end Owlz season
Orem • The Billings Mustangs scored four runs in the second inning and two more in the third to defeat the Orem Owlz 6-5, winning the Pioneer League Championship Series on Thursday night.
The Owlz rallied with runs in the third, fourth, two in the sixth and another in the seventh, but were shut down in the eighth and ninth innings.
Wade Wass had two hits for Orem.
