Ogden • Every Orem player had at least one hit, including Andrew Daniel, who went 3-for-5 with three RBIs in the Owlz' 8-3 win over the Ogden Raptors in Game 1 of the Pioneer League South Championship series Friday night.
Orem scored six runs in the top of the second inning, chasing Ogden starter Brock Stewart, who allowed six earned runs on five hits in just 1 1/3 innings. The Owlz had 14 hits.
