Ogden enters the playoffs as the hottest team on the Pioneer League South.

The Raptors went 12-2 down the stretch run clinch a berth in the playoffs. Oddly, the season-turning stretch started after two of their top players — outfielder Devan Ahart and Pioneer League Pitcher of the Year Jose De Leon — were sent up to Great Lakes of the Class A Midwest League.

Even though it will be played in Utah, the Pioneer League South series will have a Los Angeles flavor. Orem is affiliated with the Angels. Ogden is affiliated with the Dodgers

The Orem-Ogden winner will face Billings for the 2014 league championship. The Mustangs won the first and second half in the North Division.
