Will Bruin scored in the 91st minute to give Houston a 1-0 home victory over D.C. United on Sunday night, ending the Dynamo's winless streak at eight and the Washington club's winning streak at four.

Houston (6-11-4), with newcomers DeMarcus Beasley and Luis Garrido in the lineup, dominated throughout the match and finally broke through off a defensive blunder by United defender Steve Birnbaum.

United (11-6-4) dropped to 0-10-1 in Houston.
