Blair had rallied by winning Nos. 9 and 10 to cut Ha’s lead to 1 up, but Ha won Nos. 14 and 16 to conclude the match.

Blair advanced to match play as the No. 18 seed and won three matches at The Home Course. She took victories of 5 and 4 over Nani Young of Hawaii, 3 and 1 over Maddie Szeryk of Texas and 3 and 1 over Soobin Kim, a University of Washington golfer from South Korea.

Blair, a four-time Class 5A state tournament medalist for Bingham, was named the Mountain West’s freshman of the year and made the all-conference first team. The Aztecs tied for third place in the nine-team MW tournament and competed in the NCAA West Regional.
