A former third-round draft pick of the Detroit Tigers in 2006, Boesch attended Cal. This is his first season in the Los Angeles Angels’ organization.

The Salt Lake Bees open a three-game series at El Paso on Friday night, prior to the All-Star break. They return to Smith’s Ballpark on July 17 to start an eight-game home stand against Las Vegas and Reno.
