Jlcjazzslilbro, the 7-to-5 favorite, finished fourth.

Ridden by jockey Jesus Peralta, Lil Shameless Sage covered the 350 yards in 17.761 seconds and won for the second time in four starts. The winner’s share of $8,068 bumped the filly’s career earnings to $10,124.

Racing at Wyoming Downs resumes Sunday, when the $32,475 Utah-Bred Futurity highlights the action.

First Rate Version, an easy two-length winner in the trials, has been made the 8-to-5 morning line favorite.

Owned by John Lane Henderson and trained by C.D. Mitchell, First Rate Version won the $45,000 Beehive Futurity at the Salt Lake Equestrian Park in May.
