Outfielder Brennan Boesch of the Salt Lake Bees has been named to the Pacific Coast League All-Star team, it was announced Thursday.

Boesch is hitting .335 with 12 home runs and 46 RBIs. He was named the PCL's Player of the Week for June 16-22.

Boesch, 29, is in his first season with the Los Angeles Angels organization. He has appeared in seven games with the Bees' parent club this season, going 3 for 13 at the plate.

The Triple-A All-Star Game will be held in Durham, N.C., on July 16. The 27th edition of the game matches the top players from the PCL and the International league. The game is on the MLB Network starting at 5 p.m.

The Bees open their final home stand before the All-Star break on Friday. There will be post-game fireworks on Friday and Saturday. On Tuesday, two-time MVP and seven-time All-Star Dale Murphy will sign autographs as part of the Mobile Super "Go the Distance" Tour.
