Evanston, Wyo. • Make More Money, the overwhelming favorite, raced to a cruise-control one-length victory in the $5,000 allowance feature Sunday at Wyoming Downs.

Sent off at 1-to-2 in the wagering, Make More Money stalked pace-setting Sapata until the top of the stretch before pulling away under jockey Nakia Ramirez. Sapata held on for second in the four-furlong event for non-winners of two races.

Make More Money last raced at Hollywood Park in November, but the California-bred mare didn't show any ill effects from the seven-month layoff for owner-trainer Kash Evans. She won for the second time in seven starts. The winner's share of $3,000 bumped her career earnings to over $29,000.

Racing resumes Saturday at Wyoming Downs. Post time is 1 p.m.
