Dixie State softball jumped out to an early lead to win the NCAA Division II championship 4-3 over West Chester in Salem, Va., on Saturday.

West Chester scored all three of its runs in the sixth inning, but the Red Storm held on for the win. Dixie State's Nicole Chavez homered in the second inning, and Autumn Woodfall went 3 for 4 with one RBI. Aryn Feickert earned the win for the Red Storm on the mound, allowing five hits in five innings.
