It's a mild surprise that Utah's list of ex-players who play in the NFL — 23, according to an ESPN list — did not grow Friday night.

The Tribune's Brennan Smith had cornerback Keith McGill going in the late second round, and the consensus seemed to be that McGill would have found a new home by Friday night.

But McGill's long wait (chronicled here by Tribune reporter Kyle Goon) will continue into Saturday, when the third and final day of the draft kicks off at 10 a.m.

All Pac-12 defensive end Trevor Reilly also figured to be a Day Two dark horse. He told The Tribune earlier this week that he plans to golf Saturday and if he gets a call, folks are just going to have to play through.

Fourteen former Pac-12 players have so far been selected.

Other Utes awaiting a call tomorrow include (in no particular order of likelihood): tight end Jake Murphy, wide receiver Sean Fitzgerald, tight end Anthony Denham, fullback Karl Williams, defensive tackle Tenny Palepoi and offensive guard Jeremiah Tofaeono.
