ECHL: D.J. Jelitto leads Utah over Colorado, 6-3

Loveland, Colo. • D.J. Jelitto two goals to propel the Utah Grizzlies over the Colorado Eagles, 6-3, in ECHL play Friday night.

Charles Sarault scored his first goal of the season to put Utah ahead 1-0 in the first period.

The Grizzlies scored three goals in the second period — two by Jelitto. They also scored the final four goals of the game, including two in the third period on just four shots. In fact, Colorado outshot Utah 13-4 in the final period.

Mathieu Aubin had a goal and two assists, and Michael Pelech scored his 13th goal of the season —and Utah’s sixth goal — on a power play.

Utah continues its series at Colorado at 7 p.m. Saturday.
