Ogden • Weber State's Randy Rahe has been named Coach of the Year in the Big Sky Conference, the league announced Monday.

Rahe was honored for the fourth time in his eight seasons with the Wildcats.

Weber State is 19-11 after winning the Big Sky regular-season and postseason tournament. The Wildcats play Arizona on Friday in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

During the season, Rahe moved into second place on the Big Sky's all-time list for conference victories with 106. He also ranks fifth on the list for all-time victories with 169.

Rahe is one of just three coaches in league history with 100 conference wins. Weber State has won at least 10 conference games in every one of Rahe's eight seasons.
