There are a whole lot of gold medals left to be won on this, the second-to-last day of the Sochi Olympics. Medals in snowboarding, cross country skiing, biathlon, speedskating and hockey.

NBC, however, will devote a good deal of time — in primetime and late-night on the broadcast network; during the day on NBCSN — to figure skating, which is already done handing out medals. But figure skating is popular, so we’ll see a lot of the "gala," in which medalists go out, have some fun and perform.
