Utah State took the lead on the first rotation and never relinquished it, defeating BYU 193.200-192.900 in women's college gymnastics action Friday night in Logan.

The Aggies (3-0) opened with a 48.450 on vault, which was the highest team score in any apparatus by either team. Miranda Kerr led the way with a 9.825, followed by Paige Jones with a 9.8.

BYU's Raquel Willman won the all-around with a 38.825.

Boise State 196.025, SUU 195.050 • Southern Utah posted its best team score of the season but came up short at Boise.
