Real Salt Lake has signed English midfielder Luke Mulholland, the team announced Tuesday.

RSL also on Tuesday selected two players in the final rounds of the 2014 MLS SuperDraft, picking Georgetown MF Joey Dillon in the third round with the 53rd overall pick and Coker College FW Daniel Jackson in the fourth round with the 70th overall pick.

Mulholland, 25, played for the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the North American Soccer League the last two seasons, according to the statement. He scored 17 goals and had 13 assists with the Rowdies and helping them to the 2012 NASL Soccer Bowl title.

The midfielder, who was an All-American at NCAA Division-II Wingate University, began his professional career in 2011 with the Wilmington Hammerheads of the United Soccer Leagues. With the Hammerheads, Mulholland played against RSL in its 2-0 win over Wilmington in that year's U.S. Open Cup. He signed later that season with the Minnesota Stars of the NASL.

Dillon and Jackson will report to Salt Lake City for entrance physicals on Friday. Real Salt Lake will officially open preseason camp on Saturday, when the team will travel to the Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy in Casa Grande, Ariz. for its first leg of preseason training.

A native of Rochester Hills, Mich., Dillon was a four-year starter at Georgetown, starting 83 of the 86 games he appeared in for the Hoyas. Dillon, who will turn 22 on Saturday, co-captained Georgetown, was named All-Big East first-team and earned Big East Midfielder of the Year honors in 2013.

Jackson had a successful senior season at Division II Coker College, scoring 14 goals and adding two assists in 17 games for the Hartsville, S.C. school. Jackson was a South Atlantic Conference first-team selection, a second-team Daktronics NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region selection and a third-team NSCAA All-South Atlantic Conference selection.
