Aaron Dell made 27 saves in earning the shutout, helping the Utah Grizzlies to a 3-0 victory over the Idaho Steelheads in ECHL action Friday night in Boise, Idaho.
Vinny Carsella gave the Grizz the lead with a power-play goal just 4:15 in to the game.
Gentry Zollars scored later in the first period, and D.J. Jelitto tallied a short-handed goal at 9:05 of the second period to complete Utah's scoring.
The shutout was Dell's second of the season, and the victory improved his record to 9-3-0-1.
The Grizzlies now are 14-16-2-4 on the season.
The two teams travel to Utah for a 7 p.m. game Saturday at the Maverik Center.
