The Utes noticed a glaring error when the Pac-12 announced its Academic All-Conference team Tuesday with Eric Rowe's name not appearing on any of the teams. Rowe, a junior who has been accepted into Utah's business program, has a GPA of 3.447 which would have made him an easy candidate for first team honors. Unfortunately, the university made a mistake and failed to nominate him. At Utah's request, the Pac-12 has agreed to put him on the honorable mention team. The Spring, Texas, native has been one of the program's better students and was a member of the National Honor Society in high school. On the field, Rowe has started 34 games since his freshman season and is tied for seventh all-time with 21 pass breakups in his career. He has seven breakups this year. - Lya Wodraska
