New Orleans • The Utah Jazz dropped to 1-12 on the season Wednesday night, falling 105-98 to a Pelicans team that gave the Jazz their only win of the season one week ago.

Behind a trio of John Lucas III 3-pointers, the Jazz made a third quarter push to take the lead. But New Orleans' Anthony Davis (22 points, 9 rebounds) and Ryan Anderson (19 points, 5 rebounds) proved too much down the stretch.

Enes Kanter had a team best 19 points in the loss. Derrick Favors recorded his sixth double-double of the year, scoring 13 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.

Gordon Hayward went 1 for 17 from the floor in the loss. The Jazz swingman finished with six points, but had six rebounds and a career-high 11 assists.

Jazz rookie Trey Burke scored 11 points and had 1 assist in his NBA debut after missing the season's first 12 games recovering from finger surgery.

Forward Jeremy Evans also made his season debut. He had eight points on the night.
