Utah Grizzlies: Jamie MacQueen earns ECHL honrs

West Valley City • Jamie MacQueen of the Utah Grizzlies is the ECHL Player of the Week for Oct. 18-20.

MacQueen scored all five of Utah's goals in two games last week as the Grizzlies opened the season with a 1-1-0 record.

The 25-year-old scored four goals, including a power-play tally and the game-winner, in a 4-2 win against Idaho on Friday before adding another power-play goal in a 4-1 loss at Las Vegas on Saturday.

MacQueen leads the ECHL with five goals and is tied for first with five points.

The Grizzlies are back in action Wednesday, hosting Las Vegas at the Maverik Center (7 p.m.).
