Saturday's college football game pitting BYU and Houston drew 33,115 fans to 70,000-seat Reliant Stadium in Houston. Approximately 40 percent of the fans at the game were supporting BYU (by my estimation).

After BYU took a 46-45 win to end Houston's unbeaten season, fans celebrated by high-fiving BYU players as they made their way around the part of the field. The players started at behind one goal post and worked their way around about half the field before heading to the locker room.

Apparently, at least one reporter who covers Houston thought it was a bit much. He asked Houston coachTony Levine if the "victory lap" around the stadium affected Houston's players.

"To be honest, it felt to me a little bit like we were playing in a bowl game today," Levine said. "It was certainly a great Houston crown there and then a bunch of BYU fans as well. It was a great atmosphere. We don’t take that. I didn’t even notice it. It seemed like half their side was their fans and I didn’t even notice. I heard them at times, cheering, but I didn’t notice what they did after the game. After they did it, I wouldn’t think it was intentional."
