It has been a while since BYU's football program has received a commitment from a member of the class of 2014 (guys who will sign next February), but on Monday a 15th player from that class said he will become a Cougar.
Matt Bushman, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound tight end from Sabino High in Tucson, Ariz., announced at his school that he will play for BYU.
Bushman is expected to go on a two-year LDS Church mission before enrolling at BYU.
Bushman is also an outstanding baseball player, and could possibly play baseball for BYU as well.
According to Scout.com, Bushman also had offers from Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Colorado State, Duke, Pennsylvania and San Diego State.
