Weber State's losing streak hit six Saturday in San Luis Obispo, Calif., as the Wildcats lost 47-0 to Cal Poly.

The Mustangs outgained Weber State 580 to 173 in total yards, including a 365-to-53-yard edge on the ground.

It was the first time the Wildcats were shut out since a 38-0 loss at William & Mary in 2009. And it was Weber State's first shutout by a Big Sky opponent since 2002, in a 34-0 loss at Idaho State.

Cal Poly senior Kristaan Ivory scored all three of his team's first-half touchdowns (two rushing and one receicing) as the Mustangs took a 20-0 lead into the half.

Weber State freshman quarterback Austin Chipoletti finished the night 16-for-23 passing for 115 yards. Erik Walker led Wildcat receivers with eight grabs for 55 yards.

On defense, three Weber State players led the way with 13 tackles each: Roman Valenzuela, Chris Jones and Adam Padilla.

The loss drops the Wildcats to 1-6, 0-3 in the Big Sky. Cal Poly improves to 3-3, 2-0.

Weber State will return home next week to host Montana State on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The Bobcats are 2-0 in the Big Sky and ranked seventh in the nation.
