Minor-league baseball: Orem routs Helena in shortened game

Michael Fish hit a triple and a home run, leading the Orem Owlz past the Helena Brewers, 12-4, in a Pioneer League game shortened to six innings because of lightning.

Cal Towey hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning and Mark Shannon was 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs for Orem (34-25), which had just as many hits (10) as Helena.

Raptors win at Great Falls

Victor Araujo allowed just three hits while striking out six in six innings to lead Ogden to a 3-2 win at Great Falls.

Jacob Scavuzzo was 2 for 4 with an RBI and Sawil Gonzalez earned his third save of the season.
