Bees fizzle in loss at Round Rock

The Salt Lake Bees scored five runs in the third inning, but they couldn't maintain their lead in a 9-6 loss at the Round Rock Express on Saturday night.

Drew Heid was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and Peter Bourjos had two doubles and two runs for the Bees (69-52).

The Bees did not score another run after leading 6-3 in the third inning.

Owlz rout Raptors

Michael Fish hit a home run and had four RBIs, and Ranyelmy Mendoza went 2-for-4 with a home run in Orem's 13-6 win over Ogden.

Kody Eaves had three hits for Orem (27-22).

Alex Santana was 3-for-4 for Ogden (25-24).
