In addition, the Angels have signed two-time all-star major league pitcher Dontrelle Willis to a minor league contract and assigned him to Salt Lake.

Willis, 31, joins the Bees after appearing in 14 games for the Long Island Ducks of the independent Atlantic League in 2013. He went 5-4 with a 2.57 ERA and 52 strikeouts. A veteran of nine major league seasons, Willis has appeared in 205 games and compiled a 72-69 record with a 4.17 ERA and 896 strikeouts.
