"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our players and a chance to experience the Chinese culture," UVU coach Dick Hunsaker said. "We're looking forward to spending time together as a team. It will be highly competitive basketball in an atmosphere that will help us to grow individually and collectively."
Utah Valley enters its first season in the WAC this fall after a four-year stint in the Great West Conference. The Wolverines won two conference championships during their time in the GWC.
