Minor league baseball: Salt Lake Bees fall short in loss at Tucson Padres

The Salt Lake Bees stranded runners on first and third in the top of the ninth inning as their rally fell short in a 4-3 loss at the Tucson Padres. Luis Rodriguez had two doubles for Salt Lake (61-48).

Chukars 9, Owlz 8 • Orem fell just short against the Idaho Falls Chukars, leaving runners on second and third with one out in the top of the ninth inning.

Raptors 11, Rockies 5 • Pat Stover, Jesus Valdez and Austin Cowen each hit a home run to lift Ogden over visiting Grand Junction.
