Minor league baseball: Joey Curletta's grand slam lifts Ogden over Orem

Joey Curletta hit a grand slam in the fourth and finished with six RBIs to lead the Ogden Raptors over the Orem Owlz, 12-8, in minor league baseball Saturday.

Curletta went 4-for-5 and also scored three times.

Jesus Valdez hit a home run, Jacob Scavuzzo smacked three hits and Alex Santana went 2-for-4 with a double for the Raptors, who cranked out 16 hits.

Alex Allbritton knocked in two runs with his third double of the game during Orem's four-run ninth inning. Eric Aguilera and Brandon Bayardi each had two RBIs and two hits.

The Owlz and Raptors split their four-game series, which ended Saturday.
