Toronto • Hassoun Camara and Marco Di Vaio scored one minute apart in the second half to lift the Montreal Impact to a 3-3 draw with Toronto FC on Wednesday night.

Andres Romero also scored for Montreal, just 23 seconds after the opening kickoff.

Jeremy Brockie, Steven Caldwell and Darren O'Dea scored for Toronto FC.

Trailing 3-1, Camara pulled Montreal within one after defenders Caldwell and Ryan Richter failed to deal with a high ball. Camara pounced on it and banged it in past Joe Bendik in the 69th minute.

Di Vaio tied it up a minute later with his 11th goal after Richter's clearing pass ended up on Felipe's boot.

The Brazilian midfielder slipped the ball to Di Vaio who scored from in close.

Until Camara's goal, Toronto seemed to be in cruise control after getting three goals in the first half and appeared en route to posting its first league win at home in nearly a year.

Brockie had a chance to put Toronto ahead in the 89th minute but his long-range shot hit the post and deflected wide. And Montreal came close in stoppage time when Caldwell's header back to the goalkeeper almost found an Impact attacker.

Sounders 2, D.C. United 0 • In Seattle, Obafemi Martins scored his team-leading fifth and sixth goals of the season, and Michael Gspurning earned the shutout.

Martins' first goal came at the end of the 19th minute. Eddie Johnson connected with Brad Evans on a give-and-go down the middle of the field, and Evans sent a long through ball toward the top of the penalty area restraining arc. Martins got behind United defender Ethan White, caught up with the ball, and sent a shot past goalkeeper Joe Willis to the back left corner.

Whitecaps 1, Sporting KC 1 • In Kansas City, Kan., Camilo Sanvezzo scored on a free kick just before halftime and Vancouver played to a draw with Kansas City. The Whitecaps snapped a three-match winning streak broken while extending their unbeaten stretch to four.

Aurelien Collin scored in the 35th minute on a putback of his own blocked shot for Sporting, which is unbeaten in its last three but has won just once in the last seven matches.

Sanvezzo tied it in the 45th as he put his dipping shot in the upper right corner for his team-leading 10th goal of the season.

Fire 3, Earthquakes 2 • In Bridgeview, Ill., Chris Rolfe scored in the 84th minute to lift Chicago over San Jose.

Patrick Nyarko and Dilly Duka also scored for the Fire. —
