Dartmouth, Mass. • A Massachusetts prosecutor is seeking the public's help in finding a car mirror that may be connected to the murder case against former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.

Bristol District Attorney Samuel Sutter said Tuesday that the driver's side rearview mirror is from a dark gray Nissan Altima. He says it may be anywhere between Odin Lloyd's home in Boston and Hernandez's home in North Attleborough.

Hernandez is facing a murder charge in connection with the slaying of the 27-year-old Lloyd, whose body was found June 17 near Hernandez's home.

Sutter says the mirror may be in a "secluded or wooded area" along the route. He did not say how the vehicle is tied to the investigation.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail.
